Small Games of Chance Electronic Reporting System Available June 1

The state Department of Revenue’s Small Games of Chance Electronic Reporting System will be available beginning June 1 for licensed clubs to meet the July 1 deadline to file annual reports.

Each club with proceeds of $20,000 or more is required to file an annual report.

According to the Department of Revenue, upgrades were recently made to the annual reporting system to make filing easier and more secure. A secure e-signature login has been added to the system, and the electronic reporting platform also now offers a save-in-progress feature that allows clubs to enter, access and add to a saved report until it is ready for submission.

You can find a filing guide and access to the system here.

Help Needed Putting Faces to Vietnam Memorial Names

The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund has launched the Faces Never Forgotten campaign to collect a photograph for each of the more than 58,000 men and women whose names are inscribed on the memorial wall.

Among those who gave their lives were 1,449 Pennsylvania citizens.

The Memorial Fund is asking friends and loved ones of the fallen to submit photos to help better tell the story of those who sacrificed so much. You can find a list of Pennsylvania service members whose photos are needed, and instructions on submitting photos, here.

Government Surplus Auction for Heavy Equipment Underway

The state Department of General Services is conducting an online auction of heavy equipment that is open to local municipalities and the general public.

Dump trucks, loaders, graders and more are among more than 350 heavy pieces being sold. The auction gives local governments, contractors and the general public a chance to bid on affordable vehicles while bringing in non-tax revenue to the state. The auction will end at 10 a.m. on June 9.

A warm congratulations to Connor and Robert Fitzgerald upon attaining Eagle Scout, Scouting's highest honor.
