Monroe County Area Agency on Aging Looking for Volunteer Ombudsmen

On September 15 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Monroe County Area Agency on Aging (724 Phillips St., Suite 102, Stroudsburg, PA 18360) will be conducting an open house to recruit volunteer Ombudsmen.

A volunteer Ombudsman is someone who, under the supervision of the County Staff Ombudsman, advocates for residents living in nursing homes and personal care homes by visiting with them, listening to their concerns and encouraging them to ask questions and speak up for themselves.

This is a great opportunity to meet and talk with the local Ombudsman. Light refreshments will be served.

Senator Scavello met with Casey Hoch during the PA Institute of CPAs government advocacy day in Harrisburg. The senator and Casey discussed issues and the work done by his firm in Nazareth.
